PADI Specialty, should I take this step?

Besides the standard PADI courses there are many other ways to go and continue your education.  Here at Rich Coast Diving we offer a TEC program plus a big variety of specialties.  Now you are a traveler and want to do some diving,  you can add another card to your collection which is usually not much more than just going for fun dives.  The advantages of  doing a new course is not only  will you broaden your knowledge, but you will also be diving under  PADI PRO guidance; no worries about following a big group.

Choosing a specialty that suits your needs all depends on your diving skills and diving goals.  Are you newly certified and feel a bit uncertain or does the group always have to abort their dive because you are almost out of air?  Then I suggest to take the Peak Performance Buoyancy.  Here you will learn how to be more comfortable, take maybe less weight and control your air consumption.

O2You feel you are a great diver, and maybe want to take the step towards Divemaster?  Then I would recommenced the Deep and Search & Recovery Specialties.  These two specialties will be offered as a workshop in the Divemaster course as you need experience in these fields in order to be a good Divemaster.  Night diver, Navigation or Oxygen Provider  are a few great choices  which helps you to become a better Divemaster.

Are you more concerned about everything that is going on in the world especially with marine life and ocean debris?  Take the Project Aware road.  Here at Rich Coast we are 100% Aware and donate $10 to Project Aware for every student we certify.  We offer the Shark, Manta and turtle specialty.  Learn all about these magnificent creatures and their threats.  Besides doing these specialties we also offer a marine science program for kids, so it might be interesting to join some of those lectures.

We all know the saying: leave only bubbles and take only memories?  Under water digital Photography is a great one to share those memories!  We have various cameras to your disposal, from the tiny Go Pro to a professional setup.  Besides just taking pictures we will teach you how to adjust your photos and work on them until you have the perfect shot for you to share with your friends.

Need a bigger challenge?  How about the first step towards TEC diving; TEC sidemount diver?  diving with 2 tanks in an easy set atmosphere. Don’t have to carry your tanks around anymore as the captain and boat crew will drop them along a line in the water.  How comfortable is that?
